I ordered an Inferno cart for the XL Big Green Egg. The material is top notch. The cover is too short and does not fully cover the cabinet because I set my egg on the BGE nest. Matchless tells me the nest in not needed but I like the extra air gap between the cart and the grill.

We're sorry that you aren't happy with the fit. By chance, did you leave the BGE 'table nest' under your XL? That can contribute to the issue (and the nest isn't required).
These covers are made for the universal fit of the different variations of grills that can go into the cart. If we made it longer, we would run into a little of the inverse issue with smaller models.

I like the idea of this cabinet and the finish is nice. I am disappointed in the fit and quality of the build. For example the caster plate nuts are poorly aligned with the actual caster plate. # of the 4 were ok, the last one was very difficult to get an alignment where all 4 bolts would go in. My other chief complaint is that the drawers are not water tight (meaning if it rains your stuff will get wet. Additionally, at least 1 of the drawers requires a stout push to get it to close. Lastly there is no documentation whatsoever with my shipment. No assembly (though minor) instructions or care guidelines.

Caster Alignment: The caster plates are precision-cut with 'slots' rather than fixed holes. This design is intentional to allow the plate to move back and forth for easy alignment. If you found it difficult to align the last bolt, it is likely because the first few bolts were fully tightened too early. For the easiest install, we recommend starting all four bolts loosely to let the plate 'float' into position before driving them home.
Weather Resistance: We take pride in using 5052 aluminum because it is incredibly weather-resistant and will not rust in the elements. However, 'weather-resistant' is not the same as 'watertight.' As with most cabinetry, water intrusion is possible during heavy rain or depending on exposure. For customers seeking complete water protection, we do offer fitted waterproof covers.
Drawer Operation: The 'stout push' you noticed is a feature, not a defect. The slides are equipped with a retention 'stop' at the end of the throw to ensure the drawers hold tight and do not roll open on their own. This can feel stiff when the glides are brand new but ensures your gear stays secure. That said, if one drawer is aggressively too tight, please reach out to us directly at info@matchlesscabinet.com and we can see about getting you a replacement drawer.
Documentation: Since the unit comes fully assembled aside from bolting on the casters, we do not include a printed manual as the process is generally self-evident, and care instructions can be found on matchlesscabinet.com under the 'Resources' link in the main menu.

It always feels like a bit of a risk to buy an item like this without seeing it in person, but that is no problem with Matchless. We are really impressed with the quality of this piece, and the attention to detail (gaskets, door latches, finish) is excellent. Also, our cart was properly packed in a sturdy pallet / crate and arrived without so much as a smudge on it. Very happy!
Cabinet arrives damaged, but this is the carrier's fault. Once I get a replacement, I realize that a hole for my BGE was never cut into the counter - definitely their fault. A replacement counter gets sent out, only to be a slightly different color variation arctic vein. So now I have to dispose of both a cabinet and a counter...

I received the requested color samples quickly. The number of choices was unexpected, welcome and designed to fit easily into any deck or patio decor. The samples themselves were of adequate size to allow satisfactory comparison of multiple colors. Based on these samples we were quickly able to make selections and place an order.
