SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping Methods and Pricing

Matchless Cabinet sends all cabinetry orders by Less Than Load (LTL) Freight. Unless otherwise noted, we assume residential and liftgate delivery.

At time of order, freight charges will be estimated for your order specifics and the delivery address. While the end price may end up different, Matchless Cabinet will never charge you for any additional freight unless the delivery is rejected or delivery appointment cannot be made. If the shipping provider cannot make delivery, and items are returned to our warehouse, we require payment in full on additional delivery charges before the shipment will be released. This includes on products that qualify for free shipping. The freight provider will call the number provided to us at order time to attempt delivery, please be prepared to accept this call.

Shipping TRACING AND UPDATES

Almost all cabinet orders are manufactured at the time that you order, with a three week production process. At the end of this process, once the order is palletized and scheduled to be on a truck, you will receive an automated email with link to tracking information. Tracking is handled through our logistics partner, RedHawk Logistics. We do our best to update the shipping progress daily until you have the order. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at info@matchlesscabinet.com with your order number.

Noting damages / concealed damages

It is important to inspect your delivery for noticeable or concealed damages. Matchless Cabinet will handle all claims with the freight carrier, as well as providing replacement products in a timely manner. If excessive damage is visible on delivery, you may refuse the shipment. Please contact us immediately if you are unsure, at: 913-214-1518.

NOTED DAMAGES
As your delivery arrives, inspect the palletized goods for visible damage - crushed boxes, missing cardboard, shrink wrap or strapping not present.
Nearly every delivery receipt contains the two following statements. Both are extremely legal and financial statements which will waive the carrier's liability if damages have actually occurred:

1. "Shrink wrap intact"

2. "Freight received in good condition unless otherwise noted"

If these statements are incorrect representations of the deliveries, cross them out and make notes of the actual condition of delivery. Note on both your copy and the driver's copy, and if possible, photograph both copies.

If damage is present, or perceived damage is present, photograph the shipment thoroughly.

Sometimes, drivers automatically check these boxes. It is your right to document your perception of the condition of the delivery.

Common conditions to look for and note if present:

  • Shrink wrap torn
  • Cartons crushed
  • Pallet or cartons appear to be restacked or recouped
  • Straps / security tape torn or missing
  • Pallet broken

CONCEALED DAMAGES
It is important to open and inspect all packages during delivery if possible.

If not possible, please inspect fully WITHIN 5 DAYS. After such time, damage claims become more difficult. If concealed damage is found:

  • Take plenty of photos as you unpack
  • Contact Matchless Cabinet immediately at: 913-214-1518 or info@matchlesscabinet.com
